The Art World of Ivette Mosler: Born November 6, 1976,in Quito, Ecuador with a twin sister.
Since childhood, I held the natural ability to draw and paint without any special art training. The art I
learned in high school was an aesthetical guide, as It naturally became my preferred subject. I started
painting as a hobby, when I was 16 years of age. My first works were in ink, later experimenting in oils
and acrylic painting still-life realistic fruits, flowers and landscapes, gradually moving into Abstract
Expressionism, which all opened the door of opportunity for art exhibitions in various countries, such
as Ecuador, Spain, England and Colombia. My art became a cultural reflection of these countries.
For me, the main inspiration for my art is life, and I wish to express this inner feeling and emotion about
the joy of life through my art. I like the metaphysical inspiration so much because it has shown me how
to be happy in life. I enjoy sharing my life's knowledge through art, which is the reflection of my inner
soul; most of my artwork is a fulfillment of these inspirational prerequisites.
In 2008-2009, I completed some further art studies at the Brighton College of Art, Brighton, England.
